The goal of this HTML site was to give IDMA an online presence while also providing new and existing patients with resources on infectious diseases. The parameters of the project included incorporation of the existing logo, a clean and professional design, and an intuitive navigation. In addition, the new website needed to target a wide visitor demographic with a focus on users that might not be as up to date and familiar with web and computer technologies. Therefore, the basis of the IDMA’s website design is dark text on white background, minimal flash, horizontal drop down menu, and medical stock photography. Launched November 2009.
