The full redesign and build of CINE.org was an immense amount of fun, primarily because the main goal of CINE's new site was to create a fun aesthetic, reflective of the film and entertainment industry via light, props, and Flash. The majority of the site is HTML with PHP, Flash and XML used throughout. Majority of the 'props' - ie: marquee, film strip, video gallery, clapboard - were created from scratch in Illustrator or Photoshop, to give the site a unique look and feel, set apart from sites using stock photography or literal photographs. Since its quite a large site, and an excellent resource for an emerging and established film, video, and new media professionals; I recommend visiting the site to check out all the content, clips, and design elements. Launched November 2009.
