Horizon 202 Panorma – Vegas

By Karey in Horizon 202, Photography, Travel

As promised in an earlier post this week, some photos with my Horizon 202 camera from a trip to Vegas last year. The Bellagio fountain was a fun shot to take because the time lapse of the shutter speed (set to around 2 sec) caused the water to be at different heights due to the timing. Additionally, you'll notice in a few of the pics the curved horizon or 'bend' of objects due to the swinging lens. I'll post pics from DC and Italy from my Horizon in the future as well. (I apologize for the not so great scanning job of the film, hence the debri, and the lack of tripod at the time.)

Welcome to the Family, Nikon D90

By Karey in Horizon 202, Lomography, Nikon D90, Photography, Polaroid, Toy Camera

So ignore the fact that I'm opening this post with your classic cheesey mirrorphotoofyourselftakingapicture, because I'm just really thrilled about my new camera. As mentioned in a previous blog post, I was given a Nikon D90 for Christmas/Birthday. I'm quite the amateur photographer, but always game for learning a new gadget, especially when it somehow ties into design. I really don't have a clue where to begin, but did manage to get it out of the box tonight and take some photos of my other cameras using standard auto mode. Seeing them all together really makes me aware of the variety in my hands, and hopefully as I learn the D90, I can also do a better job displaying photos from my other cameras (iphone not included, since I post those regularly). Take a look at my collection below:
